Who you are agreeing with

ExamSetu is operated by RED Labz, Bhavnagar, Gujarat. By creating an account, buying a course, or using any part of this site, you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site. They should be read together with our Privacy Policy and Refund & Cancellation Policy.

Your account is yours alone

You need an account to sit tests. You must register with your own name, a working email address and a working mobile number, and you are responsible for keeping your password to yourself.

Do not share your login. An account may only be used by the person it belongs to. The system enforces this in part — only one test can be in progress on an account at any moment, so two people cannot sit tests on one login at the same time — but sharing is a breach of these terms regardless of whether you are caught by that. We may suspend an account we believe is being shared.

What we sell

There are two kinds of purchase:

• A course. A one-time payment. The course stays on your account permanently.
• An all-access pass. Opens every course for a fixed number of days (30 by default, stated at checkout). It is a one-time payment — nothing renews automatically and you will never be charged again without buying again. If you buy another pass while one is running, the days are added on.

Some courses are free to join. Prices are shown before you pay, in Indian Rupees, and the amount you are charged is always the amount shown at checkout.

Some courses run for a limited period

Most courses stay on your account for good. A few are run as a batch and state an end date or a validity period when you join — where that applies, it is shown on the course page before you join or buy. When access ends, your history and any certificate you have already earned remain yours; only the ability to open the tests stops.

How many times you may sit a test

Some tests limit how many attempts an account gets. Where a limit applies it is shown before you begin.

An attempt is counted when you press Begin, not when you submit. This is deliberate — otherwise a test could be opened, read and abandoned any number of times. If you leave within the first two minutes the attempt is given back to you. If you leave after that, or let the clock run out, the attempt is used.

Free practice tests

The free demo tests can be taken without an account. They are rationed per device so that everyone gets a turn, so you may be asked to wait a couple of hours before running another. Please do not try to work around that limit.

Your name is locked after your first result

As soon as you complete your first graded attempt, the name on your profile is frozen and you can no longer edit it. This is what stops a shared account being renamed so that one person can collect a certificate for work another person did. Check that your name is spelled exactly as you want it on a certificate before you sit your first test. If it is genuinely wrong afterwards, contact us and we can correct it.

Certificates

Where a course awards a certificate, you may generate it once you have passed the required tests. A few things worth knowing before you do:

• One certificate per account, per course, ever. The name, course and issue date are fixed at the moment it is generated and cannot be changed afterwards.
• Every certificate carries a number that anyone can check on our public verification page. That page shows the name, the course and the issue date — this is the point of a certificate, and it is covered in the Privacy Policy.
• If you studied through a coaching centre or college, your certificate may be issued in that institute's name and branding.
• We may revoke a certificate obtained by impersonation, a shared account, or any other breach of these terms.

Refunds

In short: a full refund within 24 hours of payment, provided you have not used the course and no certificate has been issued. Once a certificate has been generated the purchase cannot be refunded, because the credential cannot be unmade. The full rules, and how to ask, are on the Refund & Cancellation Policy page.

The exam content stays ours

The tests, question papers, question banks, typing passages, instruction files and everything else on the site belong to us. You may use them to practise. You may not copy, republish, sell, or share them — including posting question papers or answer keys anywhere, or using them to run your own classes — without our written permission. The work you produce and upload during a test remains yours; you allow us to store and grade it so that we can give you a result and a certificate.

Things you must not do

• Share, sell or transfer your account
• Sit a test on someone else's behalf, or have someone sit one on yours
• Copy, redistribute or publish our test content
• Attempt to interfere with grading, scores, attempt limits or certificate numbers
• Probe, scrape, overload or attack the site or its infrastructure

Suspension

We may suspend an account that breaches these terms. A suspended account cannot start tests, join courses or make purchases, but keeps access to its history and any certificate it has already earned. If you believe a suspension is a mistake, contact us.

Institutes

If you joined through a coaching centre or college using their join code, your access lasts as long as their licence does, and the manager of that institute can see your results for the courses it covers. This is explained in the Privacy Policy. If you would rather they did not, enrol on the course directly instead of using the code.

What we do not promise

We work hard to keep the site available and the grading accurate, but we cannot promise the service will never be interrupted, and we do not guarantee that using ExamSetu will make you pass any government or third-party examination. Our tests are practice and assessment tools; they are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or a substitute for any official examination body. If grading fails on our side, that attempt is not counted against you.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed, and significant changes will be announced on the site. Continuing to use ExamSetu after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Bhavnagar, Gujarat have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
